About Me
I love travel and football, combining the two things was a dream back when I started following Man City
The closest I got to travelling as a City fan back in the 1990's was on pre-season tours to Scotland and Republic of Ireland. Don't get me wrong, they were brilliant trips and I have some brilliant memories (and some horror stories) from them. Those early days going to Edinburgh, Falkirk and Dublin as a teenager whetted the appetite for exploring new places, but I wanted to go to the stadiums I saw on TV. I dreamt of the Nou Camp, the Bernabeu, the San Siro but I was getting Roots Hall, Ashton Gate and Bootham Crescent, although I did explore Southend, Bristol and York whilst there.
I am living that dream now, I am experiencing the excitement of new cities combined with the match day buzz. Exploring new places, the famous landmarks and stadiums, as well as the hidden gems and some random stadiums most people have never heard of.
