How to get to ground

Public transport is free in Switzerland if you have a hotel booking, however it only takes 35 - 40 mins to walk from the centre of Bern. I would definitely advise walking back after the game as the buses were not moving.

If you do decide to use public transport, take  either tram 9 to Guisanplatz, bus 20 to Wankdorf Station or S-Bahn S1,S2,S3,S4, S31 or S44.

Whats it like?

The stadium is very modern, it was opened in 2005 ready for Euro 2008. The home fans generate a good atmosphere and are a very friendly bunch. Away fans were given blocks B12, B13, B14 and B15
