How to get to the ground

Take the M3 metro from the city centre. There are 3 stops around the ground and you can get off at any of them. It takes about 45 mins to walk from the city centre.  its quiet a nice walk  along the canal for the main stretch.

Whats it like?

Each stand has been completely rebuilt, so it feels like a new modern stadium.  The home fans we came across were all friendly and helpful. Leaving the ground after the game was a bit chaotic, it felt like half the crowd were milling about at local shops and takeaways  so walking down the streets was what us Mancs would call "carnage" No hint of trouble just  a nightmare to get through.

Away fans for the game I attended were in D1 and D2
